Costa Rica, Panama and Portugal were the awarded countries in the 32nd edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) for having the best stands in the international category.
The Hotel Parque del Lago, you entry and exit doorway to the country that supports 100% Costa Rican culture, feels very proud to know that Costa Rica received this recognition.
Costa Rica captured in 250 m2 the essence of the country and moved it to a space where the visitors could feel nature with their five senses.
The ability of transmitting the marketing, communication and promotion needs in the stand, and also identifying the stand with the image, the product and the grade of originality and innovation in its design, were the graded aspects in each stand.
Allan Flores, Minister of Tourism, said that the country’s participation in this important global event was very important for the promotion of tourism activity and the development of the model of sustainable tourism promoted by our country.
The stand of Costa Rica also had other elements, such as: audiovisuals, display counters, totems (with brochures of Costa Rican companies and the country in general), bar (with typical Costa Rican food), Spa-Wellness sector (with real masseuses), Photo-spot sector, 3-D simulator and mini projection room.
Besides, for the first time in this edition, the participants enjoyed a Creole swing performance, since this type of dance was recently declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Costa Rica. They also tasted typical Costa Rican meals.
