As initiative of the Welfare Association of the Canton of Parrita (ASOBIPA) and with the support of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute , the National Mule Festival is celebrated once more as from February 2nd, 2012.
Raising funds to build part of the grandstand of the arena that isn’t finished yet is the main objective of this celebration in Parrita, Puntarenas, few hours away from the capital city.
Parrita is one of the 15 cantons with the greatest growth in the country due to its large number of tourism projects and hotel zones. It has been the host for the festival for more than 10 years.
If you would like to go to this festival remember that the Hotel Parque del Lago is your entrance and exit gateway to the country, with the best location, parking lot, sustainability and promoter of the Costa Rican culture.
