The XVI edition of making San Jose glow for Christmas time is only three weeks away, since it’s taking place on December 10th, starting at 6:00pm in Paseo Colon.
The audience can enjoy the participation of 14 floats, so it’s considered the celebration with the largest participation in its history.
Some of the companies and institutions that are participating are: the Township of San Jose, Coca Cola, Claro, Florida Bebidas, Movistar, Kolbi, and Importadora Monge, among others, which are anxious for competing for the title of the float “that glowed the most”.
This event isn’t left behind compared to other years, where you can also appreciate the music played by eleven bands from different sectors of the country.
The production will have the company of four Costa Rican painters and three sculptors. This group of marshals is composed by: Lola Fernandez, Rafael Angel “Felo” Garcia, Isidro Con Wong, Rafa Fernandez, Nestor Zeledon, Crisanto Badilla and Jose Sancho.
For you to have a great time with your family and friends, the festival -as part of its organization- is having operatives by the Municipal Police, Public Force, Traffic, Red Cross, firefighters and the supervision of the Ministry of Health.
Recommendations to attend the festival:
It’s recommended arriving early to choose your space in the grandstands, besides bringing coat, comfortable shoes and a waist pack or backpack to keep your basic belongings.
If you’re going with children hold their hands at all times and place a paper in their clothes with basic contact information in case they get lost.
