The Hotel Parque del Lago welcomes you to spend a memorable stay during the Festival Imperial 2012, which is bringing renowned artists, 32 international and 10 local.

After this event is not arranged since 2008, this year it’s taking place on March 24th and 25th at the racetrack La Guacima, in Alajuela, located a few minutes away from the capital.

The main objective of the Festival Imperial is to gather important artists in the same space, where people can escape their daily routines and appreciate some talent.

Some of the international artists that will participate in this edition are: Maroon 5, Björk, LMFAO, Moby, Ximena Sariñana, La Mala Rodriguez, Thievery Corporation, Cypress Hill, The Flaming Lips, Skrillex, TV on the Radio, Gogol Bordello, Major Lazer, Manchester Orchestra, Felix Martin, Al Doyle (Hot Chip), A-Trak, Bomba Estereo, Cage the Elephant, Bonobo, Dj Shadow and Madeon.

Akasha, 424, The Great Wilderness, Zopilot, Color Noise, Patiño Quintana, Sonambulo and Huba&Silica are part of the national artists.

Björk is the artist in charge of closing the Festival Imperial 2012.
