Viva Palmares! is the typical expression of thousands of Costa Ricans and even tourists, who can’t wait 2012 to come and enjoy the exclusive activities of Palmares.

You can be part of these celebrations from January 11th to the 23rd, where fun will be immersed in bull rides, fireworks, amusement rides, horse parades, bars, cultural presentations and concerts.

Once more, the Civic Association of Palmares will be in charge of arranging the event, where they expect to receive more than 800.000 people.

Guest voices

The reggaeton artist Don Omar from Puerto Rico will warm up the stage with the first massive concert of the festivities on January 15th, which has space for the attendance of 15.000 people.

The Mexican singer Pedro Aguilar is the other character that will delight the audience at Palmares in the Ranchero Festival 2012, on January 14th, in the bull arena at 7:00pm.

All the concerts will be supported by more than 150 private security members, who will look out for the safety of the attendees.

Prevention comes first

Not only the concerts will be supported by security staff, since all the areas of the fairground will have more than 500 officers, who have as mission reducing the risk of criminal behavior and any kind of disturbances.

In case you face any problem regarding your health, you can go to the stands of the Red Cross, which will be found in the fairground and in the roads San Jose-Palmares and Palmares-San Jose.

With this objective of the Civic Association of Palmares of increasing security, you can enjoy the new activities brought by Palmares 2012.
